That's amazing we had the same, Even after I counted the ones I found after the post of the contest and you adding the bits and pieces of pennies they are about the same.
Without counting the extra pieces of wheaties, Your ratio of wheaties per silver coin is 4.58...That's about two silver coins per 9 wheat pennies.Just remember that ratio amount you did 2002 for future record, You can compare this with future wheatie/silver finds. Mine was it's lowest ever in my 14/15 years of hunting, Dug a less amount of wheaties per silver coin.
I'm already off to a good start of keeping the coming years finds separate, I'm not going to cash in any of this years clad finds until next year after I've counted up all of the finds. I will definitely get track and log all of my finds daily or weekly using a log booklet. It's going to be hard not to use my clad quarters for the car wash, laundry, newspaper rack or snack machines.
