Started off at Monterey/Seaside area, but didn't find much. The beach was visibly lower, but not many targets. There was one fun zone that someone else was already in. He was getting wheaties and a stray silver or two. So I tried another beach and got 68 coins, a gold ring, and silver ring. Gold ring was a band (karot unk). Coins included: a 192? walking 1/2, a 1911 barber quarter, 2 mercs, 3 silver roosies, 3 silver washingtons (10 silver coins total), 9 wheats, and the rest clad. There were still targets all over when I left, but it was excruciating digging for them! Too many rocks. Ooohh, there's the hint for those in-the-know
Tomorrow I'm gonna take a friend to help dig. A round shovel will make the process a lot faster at this particular beach.
