I have painting of sad clown reading WSJ

I have an original oil painting that is 16x20 of a clown with a sad face reading the Wall St. Journal. It is signed "Trudie A." on the lower right side of the painting. The clown looks like the "Red Skelton" clown type with the blue eyes and the red nose and black unshaven face. It's really a very nicely detailed painting; but I have no idea who the painter is or when it was done. Please let me know if you have any idea about this painting. Thanks.
