clown oil paintings

I bought 5 oil paitings on black velvet that are very bright colers.They just the clown heads.Four of them are happy faces and one is a sad face.I was told that they were purchsed in the 20's.The signatue is Perez,but I can find no Perez who did clown oil paintings on black velvet.I had hoped you could send me in the right direction.
