Looking for a stuffed clown in a red & white suit

I am looking for a stuffed clown doll, 18-inch, originally bought in the early 70's. He had a red and white (striped?) suit and hat and had large blue diamond-shapes on his eyes and small red triangles on his cheeks. He had a rubber face. I do not know the manufacturer. Anybody got a clue? Thanks, Nick
