Price lists?

by (no login)

I was wondering if anyone can help me. I inherited my fathers clown collection and am interested in finding out the value of some of the pieces. They include Emmett Kelly Jr. and Ron Lee collection.

Is there a website with prices on it?

I am intersted in selling the collection but first need to have an idea of what prices to ask.

Thank you all!

Emmett Kelly Clown- soft body

by (no login)

I have an "Emmet Kelly Trade Mark Talking Clown", as stated on back of neck. It is about 30 inches tall, plastic head and hands, cloth body, lime green trousers, patchwork pattern paisly jacket held closed with a sunflower broach, diagonal stripe multicolor REAL tie, red vest with snaps, red nose and hat with black brim. Coal smeared/5 o clock shadow jaw.

Right hand broken but repaired, talking action may or may not work- I am not sure if it talks by ventriloquist or actually makes sounds- jaw moves up and down. Overall GOOD condition.

I have no clue as to age, history or value. Best offer takes him.

This is probably one of several made round about 20 years ago. 1980's Ron Lee Clown

by (no login)

I found a 1980's Ron Lee Clown. He appears to be Hobo Joe I think and he is dressed in gold overalls, gold hat and red and polka dot white bowtie and holding a yellow flower in his hand. Signed '80 Ron on the quartz base. I have been searching to find out how much he is worth and cant find anything on him, would help to know the correct name of this particular clown, if anyone can help. We have an antique store online and we didnt want to put him on there until we knew if he has a little price on him or a higher price. Any info would be helpful at this point. Thank you, Micki

What is the name of this clown?

by (no login)

I was given a clown figurine, it is of a clown (or even a hobo) sitting down on a tree stump, holding a golf club which has a squirel sitting on the club part. It has EKJ intials on the tie which is pink with red dots. Also it has the number 25 in a circle on the jacket, and a red plus and a yellow minus sign on it. Please if you can give me the title of this clown it would help me out tons. Thanks. Also it is signed by Emmett Kelly Jr. and has the sticker on the bottome that says the emmett kelly jr collectibles flambro.

George Crionas' SATURDAY NIGHT FEVER

by (no login)

Do you have any idea how much a signed and numbered litho for Saturday Night Fever might go for? It is a tribute to Louis Armstrong.
Thank you.

Leon Franks Sad Clown Painting

by (no login)

I currently have listed on eBay a wonderful 1968 oil on canvas portrait of a sad clown painted by the legendary artist Leon Franks. I would love for it to go to a good home that appreciates the painting.

Kelly the Clown reading the Wall Street Journal

by (no login)

I was wondering if any one has any idea what a oil painting of Kelly the Clown holding an actual wallstreet Journal in his hand by an artist named Herschell E. Fullen would be worth. I am not sure how old it is but I know it was bought over 40 years ago.

unusual clown painting

by (no login)

I have come to be in possesion of a clown painting on canvas that I am looking to see if there is a value to it. It is an unusual painting as it has the look of an Emmett Kelly painting, but it is signed Jean Fini. There are no other defining marks other than the signature. It is a painting of a Hobo clown with a smile and he has his hand up holding a flower. It appears to be an older painting by the slight yellowing of the canvas. If anyone can help me or know where I might be able to find someone to help me, please let me know. If you email me, I have a picture of it that I can show you.
Thank you

Hi There...
I am selling a Ron Lee sculpture from 1979 of Emmit Kelly leaning against a broom. I am not sure what this particular sculpture is called, so any information from someone would be greatly appreciated. This piece has its original tag still intact but has no bax. I look forward to hearing from someone about this item.
Thanks So Much,
Catherine

I make custom clown dolls

by (no login)

Hello All,

I make custom clown dolls. I have 4 or 5 different heads available, the hands are white gloved and the shoes are black with white sock top and of course the shoe part is larger, clown-like. Male and Female. I can dress them anyway you want, for example - Doctor, Artist, Dressed in Tuxedo, HoBo like, Cowboy, BAll Player, Chef, Angel, Fishing, whatever, mimicking any profession. They can be made stationary, standing or sitting or a body that can be posed. They are 12 to 15 inch tall. Because of the wide variety of fabrics and accessories, please write and give me an idea what you would like and I can quote you a price. Thanks

Pete Boruta

by (no login)

Pete Boruta was from Trenton, New Jersey and lived on Nottingham Way. He painted hundreds of clown oils on canvas. He was somewhat famous in the area and donated a lot of his paintings for various charity causes for fund raisers. I have seen values (prices paid) range from $59.00 to about $250.00. I would suggest to keep the paintings.

Mr. Boruta has passed on and numerous paintings of his were lost in a house fire of his home.

The potential value of the paintings are somewhat limited because of the painting topic. You have to be a clown fan and then an oil painting fan.

Most of Mr. Boruta's paintings are clearly marked in front on the painting and normally there is a sticker on the back with his address and other hand writings such as "original Pete Boruta painting."

Pete Boruta--non-Clown paintings

by (no login)

We have an oil painting of the Grover's Mill, signed "Boruta 1965." Since Grover's Mill is near Hamilton, NJ, where P.J. Boruta lived, he is probably the artist. Apparently this is one of his non-Clown works--does anyone have any more or know the occasion for this one? Dennis Hawver dhawver@aol.com
