can any one help me find this Clown

by (no login)

When I was a little girl in the mid 1960s to 1976 I had a bozo clown doll that I would desperately like to get my hands on again. This doll was plush fake fur with Red/Orange Long frizzy fake fur hair and a cone hat of red white and blue. Of course the white had red spots in it and the red and blur were seperate. The same on the rest of his body.He had a battery operated or pull string laughing mechanism inside him. He was 12 to 16 inches. I was so little then I cant remember exactly. I just remember what he looked like. He had an altogether different look about him than the knickerbocker clown. His hair was an orange/red Long fuzzy fur. I see on ebay.I think too his hands were white fur also. Can any one help me. I would sure appreciate it.oh ya it seems like maybe he had some stars on him too, but then I'm not sure. This clown may have been made by mattel or hasbro. But then I'm not sure of that either

I found a web site that sells them, but I have never shopped online. has anyone here shopped at www.collectibleshopping.com? If so are they a reliable company? If not, do they look reliable? What should I look for when I want shop on the internet? Sorry for so many questions, but like I said, I'm new at this and could really use some good advice.

emmett kelly doll

by (no login)

I have an Emmett Kelly Clown, The tag on his jacket saysEmmett Kelly's Willie the clown, on the back of t
he tag it says, exclusive license, Baby Barry toy NYC.
he is about 20 inches in height. He is wearinga light green shirt, with a brown jacket that has a yellow and black vest attached abd black lapels. He has a tie that is red, white, green, and blue, he has blue pants that look like they had patches on the knee at one time..... but there was never any patches. His shoes are blue aand are of a felt material that seem to be sewen right on to his body. His body is of a tan material almost like a gunny sack material but not quite. He also has a black hat of a felt material. sthe typical sad clown face with brown eyes and a ring of brown hair around his head. This doll was given to my mother by a friend that lived in New York back in 1961. She was told that he had it for several years himself and didn't want it any more. His jacket on the right side has been moth eaten I think. I think it will lower the value of him. But I would at least like to know what his worth might be now days, Aand if anyone is interested in buying him. You can e-mail me if you like. Thanks.Dee
