Surf City sailors finished 2-3-4-6 in the Manahawkin Bay Cup on Sept. 22. A fleet of 19 boats sailed the four race series in 12- to 15-knot winds.
Jack Huntsman of Monmouth Boat Club won, followed by Surf City sailors Steve Warren, Rich Warren and Jack Elfman. Mitch Hnatt of Metedeconk was fifth and Tim Robinson of Surf City was sixth.
It was the largest fleet for the regatta in several years and - and thanks in large part to Canon's sponsorship and Tim Robinson -- it was a big hit both on the race course and on shore.
