My sympathies for your loss, Kim.
I know this is an emotional time for you, so I know you didn't mean to make it sound like requesting rule changes was a petty thing for us to do. The fact is, we just want more democracy to these proceedings. (By which I mean the actual setup and conducting of the awards themselves, not the actual voting.) I mean... why recruit a committee if you're not going to use it for anything except vote counting? Not to sound harsh, but the rules of the URAs aren't yours to make. These are the awards of the fans. Can't the fans have a little more say in how they're set up?
I know that spearheading the URAs means a lot of work for you, Kim. All the more reason to turn to your committee! We want to help, or we wouldn't have signed on for this. Just tell what areas you need help with. You don't have to do this whole thing yourself, you know.
