All glory be to the Legion, but if you ever played Classic D2 there's *no* other way to describe them other than "suck." And that's putting it mildly. That suckiness is actually where the variant idea came from. Knowing just *how* horrible the A2 Mercs are, who'd *ever* want to be one?
