Greg. I read reports of A Ptolemaic coin being discovered in Austalia. Who is in possession of this coin now? Why has this not been tested. Surely this is 'hard evidence'.

I was just talking to Rex on the phone and he said: The coin was dug up by a farmer putting in fence posts, the owner of the coin was a major-who passed away, and his son apparently has it in his possession somewhere near Cairns.

I have researched through my Mysterious Australia book and searched online. There have been many different coins discovered on this continent. I was looking for patterns or similarities. I compiled the main discoveries on a map. There have been many discoveries near Cairns. It should be noted that the Gosford Hieroglyphs are old kingdom style but written from a Ptolemaic perspective (writing mistakes).

Here is the map. http://www.megaupload.com/?d=QG63WYL3
