Ive Emailed Rex a couple of time, maybe he's busy, maybe he doesnt want to email me back. Bottom line is Im a little impatient.
Im a regional co-ordinator for the Pagan Alliance. I am currently working on a project titled Pagans Working For Peace.
The full details can be found at
But basically i want it to be the largest pagan gathering in australia and hopefully the world will follow suit.
I want to hold the gathering at the Bathurst 'Stone Henge'
and I am looking for as much info on it as i can, including maps.
I understand it may be of a delicate subject.
Can anyone assist me, or maybe encourage Rex to contact me.

Rex doesnt use the internet his wife Heather does. They have had so much trouble with their computer and have had trouble receiving emails.
I will send this to Heather and they should contact you-if they dont I can ask them for you.
As for Bathurst Stonehenge-the farmers who own the land now do not allow anyone near them as treasure hunters used to swarm over the land and they decided to stop access.
What email did you use to contact Heather and Rex??
updated: I just rang Rex and told him of your request and I have emailed them and you wil be contatced by Heather this week, sorry for the late replies.

The email I used was randhgilroy@optusnet.com.au
Do you think the property owners would allow it for a fee?
It would be a once only event and pagans are renouned for their ability to clean up after themselves.
Do you know how to contact them?
I grew up in the Orange/Molong area. I have heard of the cave under anson and byng st.
There is also rumoured to be extensive caves under Molong. Apparently they were uncovered at the quarry, but sealed up because of people going missing in them. Also stories of monster type creatures living in them. Has Rex investigated this?
Im a member of the Sydney cave clan, they are looking for something more interesting than storm water drains to explore. If there are hidden caves and tunnels Rex knows about and isnt up to investigating, we'll do it!
I emailed him about this idea as well but recieved no response.

In the past two years there inbox has been targeted by spam and hundreds of emails...thats the email though you have...I am trying to setup a different email address for Heather for just this so she wont be clogged with this spam.
Also Heather has had a few problems with her computer as well as going away for weeks at a time with Rex researching, which would explain why you couldnt get through to them.
I gave Heather your email and they will email you. Why dont you come this weekend to their meeting this Saturday from 2pm and ask Rex all this personally, your welcome to.
Rex is a speologist as well, and I have many photos of him coming out of cave systems, so you should come and talk to him. It is at his Katommba home, if you want to go, just ask and I will email you with the details.
Your messages more than likely were marked by the program as spam and automatically deleted them.I know there are many caves that Rex has explored...
As for the Bathurst Stonehenge I was talking to Rex and he thinks it is a good idea except the amount of people that would go there. Bathurst covers vast areas and it would be hard to just find in without directions..
In the past similar evens have taken place at these sites of Rex and then people have taken things from the sites or tried to dig up the place searching for buried bodies or other things.
But, as I said come to his meeting and ask him personally...Rex does know of and has researched hundreds of sites..
