I video taped Rex in 2004-2005 over a period of months recording all his evidence for a futre DVD seris. Unfortunately I suffered a major injury in the form of a fractured eye socket and related eye damage which to this day is giving me severe problems, and has put back the release till this year.

For years Rex has speculated based on his own fossil evidence that the true Yowie of Aboriginal folklore was Homo erectus.

Rex reveals on these tapes that, as others think today-he was like them, and thought back in 1957 that the Yowie was a hairy type gorilla. But after finding evidence over the past 50 years he theorised that at a remote period that a continous land brdige would have allowed any type of large creature to walk down to New Zealand and Australia.

Today with 52 skull fragments and endocasts-a single giant molar tooth and other evidence that there was a slow continous evolution in Australia not recognised by science-yet.

In the recordings Rex demonstrates the evolution of the foot in Australia, showing a modern foot formation (for the yowie and earlier races)similar to our own going back-at present evidence, to 1-3 million yrs BP (before present)..and from his own evidence shows that Modern Humans evolved in Australia between 300,000yrs-400,000 yrs BP at present evidence, long before the appearance of modern humans in Africa.

Rex also has evidence in the form of two skull endocasts which show homo erectus and archaic modern humans living side by side at the same riverbank.

In the videos Rex also reveals other evidence he has collected over 50 years including a fossil thylacoleo carnifex skull, and many dinosaur fragments, which have been shown at various museums he has owned and operated.

Rex also talks of his first attempt in 1959 to have an article written on the Yowie in the sydney papers, the editor telling him to come back when he was older and he did and in 1961 sent another article on the yowie to them.

He tells of the efforts of his to have the Yowie recognised and protected, of the ridicule he put up with in the press and the blatant lies that the press and certain researchers have tried to spread over the years.

Certain researchers who use the same edited articles to try to discredit Rex and to this day still use these articles to try to show Rex in a bad light.

One such article which Rex did not even write stated that he came across the decaying bodies of 4 dead yowies and the stink was so bad he left in a hurry. He never said that and another researcher is still writing this account, even though he knows this account was made up by the writer of the article at the newspapers.

Rex also talks about how he came to the conclussion of homo erectus and pre homo erectus types such as giant homo erectus and gigantopithecus types...

As Rex states in the recordings, as he found more evidence he changed certain theories to match the evidence. Till today, where Rex has the evidence to back up his claims of homo erectus and pre erectus, as well as pgymy types being here and possibly a home grown version of a seperate evolution to Java.

He has three yowie books to be released in the near future.
