Scientists have unravelled the DNA of Tasmanian Tigers, raising the possibility of perhaps one day bringing the extinct animal back to life.
Producing a complete Thylacine genome-all the instructions for a living tiger -is likely "Before too long". scientists predict.
The last thylacine in captivity Benjamin, died in Hobart Zoo in 1936, although there were sightings in the wild after that.
