We have always had the policy of not allowing posters taking family shots. We have always enforced this rule in house, we are now stepping out and enforcing this rule as far as public figures. Fulmers wife as an example should not be fodder for our merry pranks.

Next the term slander. If you bring it, you back it up. References and induendo's without adequately referencing your source. Example: Randy Sanders is doing half the student body INCORRECT. The Rumor that Randy Sanders is doing half the coed CORRECT. I talked to a coed Randy Sanders was doing BETTER. I can give you a girls name to verify my rumor about Sanders-BEST

Personal vendetta's This board can provide e-mail addresses to any individual you have a gripe with. Many things on here probably should be handled one on one instead of bringing it to the forum.

An example JC has in the past provided a link to a site with rating numbers backing up his claim that 1240 is getting beat in the ratings. Great way to handle that angle. But vendetta's over business and personal business should stay off the board. Great place for an e-mail.

JC, from the threads that PV did find and bring up, it seems to me that Tony got a wild hair and threw down on ya. Once again. As you in turn throw down on him. It caught both PV and I by complete surprise as we scrambled to figure out what in the hell happened that got you banned from TB's portion of the airwaves.
After the dust settled we figured it best to let you and Tony work it out as though your take is on the brutal edge, it did not break any violations here in the Parlor.

That being said, PV and I then wanted to start an open thread for comment by members as we feel we needed to tackle an issue that at SPS has been an ongoing concern of ours. The bare minimum rule factor is here only to expedite good quality convro and eliminate the bullshit that can occur due to say....family shots. You guys know exactly what I mean by that particular one, and it is a very important rule imho.
But as PV pointed out, there have been areas where personalities have been thrown down on to the point of slander. We have to be very careful in SPS as if that fine line is breached, not only can the author be held liable but the forum can be taken down if such a charge was proved. I know that this happens all the time in other boards, but the types of projects and stories that we break in SPS does hold us, I feel, to a higher credibility and scrutiny by the sporting world around us.

It is not our desire to censor, but to have the best forum out there to get it off our chests, have some fun, make our points and get behind the issues we feel worthy. Every controversy we have had has been open to forum discussion and we as operators have always compromised to the moral majority of the board. This is a fact. So before ya go off half cocked, wait till this thread gets finished.

I would ask Beano our Prez to get his take in here and I will be relieved when Craig Daniel gets that assssssss back in place as the governing founder of SPS with co-owners PV and myself.

I believe we will win Saturday, but yesterday had to be a high water mark for both of you. In here scuffling to see who could provide me & others with truthful free information. I appreciate that. Although one of you tends to the farm animal part of the spectrum & the other toward the Bodine portion, I have ZERO doubt about your interest in coach, player, & fan involment in a win in the next game. The Al Wilson passion is there, if the methods differ.

vh, Tony had a great show even with the FL fans calling with their "hillbilly" & "redneck" comments. I say yesterday had to have been a high-water mark for you because Tony B. suspended bin 99JC for his behavior yesterday. It might have been a stunt and I doubt Tony will follow up with sanctions that keep bin 99JC anywhere near respectable, but it was enjoyable and it was a nice break.

I am sorry you missed it, but Tony & Brocky both gave you credit for your scooping. They both were complimentary & meant it. Tony also had the SmallMind Jethros in a sad state for Tony's belief that TN will go down to FL tomorrow & play football & earn a win in Gainesville.

Brocky, I also want to say that I heard most of your show with Tony & I thoroughly enjoyed it. I do enjoy listening to people who enjoy sports for what they are--a pasttime or a diversion! That was a good show.

But on the other hand, we have JC, who reminds one of your basic third-grader or Bill Clinton or Michael Jordan. Other sports fans are enjoying a great week (even the enfarcer) in anticipation of a battle of strategy, skill, desire, & drama with attention directed to that game & history, and here's our JC standing over to the side stomping & crying, "Hey, look at me, please, look at me!" Like those in the first sentence, JC will never tell you it is all about me. I am glad he is gone, if only for a little while!
