First, allow to offer my congrats to the Vols for bringing it in the Swamp.
I posted on this board the other day that if Tenn got physical with UF they would win. In fact, the Tenn defensive scheme in the UF game reminded me of a Joe Lee Dunn-type scheme, ie, "Kill the QB!"
While MSU has the Peach Bowl caliber athletes to pull off wins against UF in Starkville by getting physical with UF--on the other hand--MSU does not have the players to do it @ the Swamp like Tenn does.
In other news...
MSU was beaten by BYU via a last second field goal to finally put the bullet in the head of the horse with the broken leg that was the 2001 Miss State football season.
When I saw Jabari Davis score the TD it reminded me how JD almost commited to MSU...MSU was one of his last visits before commiting to Tenn.
What I am getting at is that while Tenn is getting ready to smack L-excuse back to reality Jackie Sherrill--on the other hand--will be out recruiting players Monday who can bring yet another Peach Bowl trophy to Starkville. It's all the MSU alumni sheep/alumni demand really.
That's why I say I wish I was a fan of a real football team.
