I do want to give props to the Vol fans out there that believed in this team all year, that stayed away from the silly nicknames, that supported the team after the UGA loss, and that STAYED on the bandwagon. I will not list the names of all these posters, but they know who they are.
We have a HUGE game with LSU coming up. The UF game is meaningless if we don't finish the job in Atlanta. Hopefully, we'll finish the game!

I must disagree. The Gator victory will NEVER, I repeat NEVER be meaningless.
I believe I know where you are coming from though. Just give me a little more take on it.
At 8:00PM Saturday night, I was in a state of euphoria and ready to rip the head off of any wolf who ever performed character assasination or maliciously attacked Coach Fulmer, Randy Sanders or John Chavis. I told Al, and even called Brocky on the 5th quarter, that the wolves had better be prepared because I was declaring a wide-open hunting season on their asses come Sunday when I could get to a computer.
Well, a 500 mile drive helped me to both calm down and rethink my threat. I sat around the house yesterday still just soaking it in. I disagree about the significance. Personally, that win was 10 times as exciting, special and important as the one in Tempe. But back to the point. I do not agree with everything these coaches do or have done. And I've been critical like many others. BUT, and a big ole' hairy BUTT, I do not subscribe to or condone the personal attacks we read and hear on a daily basis.
These coaches know a hell of alot more than me, you, Gray, Phil, MP, Justin, TBA and yes, even JC and the Dog. But they're not perfect and I will continue to comment about things I can't for the life of me figure out. That said, I believe whole heartedly that they are doing everything in their power to win football games for UT. So my only "request" to these wolves is to back off the personal attacks fueled by your obvious hatred of these men. And I'm aiming that specifically at the UT wolves. While classless, you can at least half-way excuse JC, Top Dog and the other non-UT fans for the attacks, but the way the UT wolves want to eat their own is sad.
In alot of ways, I wished I would have had a computer handy at 8:00 Saturday night. That would have been...interesting. But it's probably better to have waited and written this sappy crap.
I am going to be a man, and I inteded on doing this sooner. I will be totally honest and didn't think the Vols would win this game. I knew there was only one way to go about doing it, and it would take perfect execution of that in order to do so, but that is just what the Vols did. Run right at them- and play physical.
I was wearing my orange all weekend, and I was quite nervous the whole evening because I wanted to see this team win. I predicted a loss, and I don't mind eating some crow, because it only benefits my own team.
Now let's go to Atlanta, and start kicking ass and taking names. We'll start with Saban ... then Rohan ....
