| Beave has made this joke for months now (by the way, where is the puke at?), but it may now have some validity. Our offense has improved DRAMATICALLY over the season, and now we are on the verge of greatness.
If you are Vandy, before you try to hire a retread (John Cooper), or a defensive coordinator that couldn't even make UF punt (Charlie Strong), or an offensive coordinator that could only score 7 on Bama (the dude from Auburn, can't recall his name), why not simply go up I-40 and hire THE BEST DAMN OFFENSIVE COORDINATOR IN THIS CONFERENCE?
Sanders made the mighty Gator defense look like a freakin' high school team. Take away Witten's mistakes, and we score 45+ on Saturday. This game wasn't as close as the score indicated.
If I was the Vandy AD, I'd make RS a $700K offer and see what happens. I'd hate to see RS go, but it's hard to hold on to coaches when you are winning championships I guess.

but I'm admitting that Randy Sanders has had a very good year calling plays, with the exception of the Syracuse game and the first half against Kentucky.
He needs to attack LSU by throwing to set up the run. That's the formula for success for UT's offense.
With regards to the Florida game, Tennessee put 34 points on Florida without any significant production from Stallworth, Washington and Witten. Florida was lucky Tennessee didn't put 50 points on them. |

and not with just the chicks at Humes Hall this time! The whole country watched him dissect UF's defense. UF was a good defense, and we punked them all day.
I hope he stays here. This may kill you Jethros to think about it, but he may be UT's next head coach in about 10 years!
