Seriously, I think the so-called Swamp mystique is completely overblown. I've been there. It's a cesspool just like that whole town. I was at the 97 UT v. UF game and I didn't think it was all that loud. I never felt the whole structure shake like Neyland does on many occasions leading those in the south end to start thinking about doing the dog paddle when in lands in Ft. Loudon. I have been calling the Swamp the Toilet in recent years. And Steve Spurrier, with his alligator lapel shirts, Stevie Izod. You think that fits? His look - with the shiny pants, alligator shirts and visor - quit being cool about 1984.
