Saban will not let Phyllis Fulmer beat him twice within the same year. LSU will attack UT's defense differently and we will have an eye on Washington this time. LSU's defense has improved since the first meeting and nobody can keep up with Davey and Reed.
coach that noone likes to play for. How come all your assistant coaches quit last year? Saban will wilt under the pressure, and he'll take his consolation prize. Please don't attend the game Mike, I'd hate to see you drive all that far for nothing.
Oh, and as far as "Phyllis" Fulmer goes, he's THE WINNINGEST COACH IN THE GAME. Period.
We like jewelry up here. We get to add to the collection on Saturday nite!

Pasadena here we come!
Anybody else want on board?
Nobody said Fulmer wasn't a good coach. There is no doubt about that. I like Fulmer. He wins gracefully as does he lose gracefully. Saban loses his coaches because he is winning games and the country is taking notice. If this comment was in reference to the SI article, that has already been put to bed. Saban replied by saying that some of the things were true but the majority of the article was twisted around.
Keep on talking. We saw what over-confidence accomplished in Gator country. As for quarterback/receiver matchups, give me davey and reed over grossman and his trio of outfielders any day of the week. Besides, your one quarterback connection is no match for our multi-tiered aerial assault.
Enough of Ole Miss and Eli Manning. We did lose to them because we did not come ready to play. I am not gonna throw Georgia in your face along with Kentucky because I know that you weren't ready to play. That is obvious.
None of Saban's assistants left MSU because they liked it up there. Morris Watts, a former LSU offensive coordinator, just got up there a year before Saban left and didn't want to turn around and move his family again. Saban does demand alot of his coaches and that is why LSU is playing this weekend. If a coach does not want to put in the extra hours to be the best, then haul ass. I don't care and I'm sure Saban doesn't either.
volhunter, I am not saying that Davey is better than Grossman. I am saying that LSU has a more balanced offense than Florida. We can spread the ball out between Reed, Myers and Clayton. We will also mix in a dab of a healthy Toefield. He was injured last time we played. Florida was without Graham and you see how one dimensional they were.
What are you smoking mikey? Florida has three receivers right now that have the talent and the numbers to go to the NFL this year. Give Davey his due. He's a great QB. And Reed could be the most valuable player in the ncaa but that offence is nothing like Florida's and you forget 90% of it is Spurrier, who stays up nights on end drawing the most perfect plays for every situation and every defensive coverage.
There is going to be no new looks from your offence and no new strategies. LSU is going to do what got them this far but this is as far as the train goes mikey. The next stop is Pasadena. ALL ABOARD!!
I am not saying we won't do the same things that got us this far

but we will roll Davey out and open the field up for him. He will have the option of Reed, Myers, Royal(TE), Toefield or he can simply put the ball up and run his big ass up the field.
Hahahaha! So is LSU actually going to line a guy up on K-Wash this time? That would be a good start.
UT is going to make Saban and LSwho their little girls. Benjamin Beuford Blue (a.k.a. Rohan Davey) is a clown. We all saw him try to get his players up before the game on 9/29 and that just didn't help.
The LSwho players can make fun of the checkerboard endzones all they want but they're going down again this Saturday. UT 38 - LSwho 17

your name. Please stay in school and learn to spell "offense". While you sarcastically alter poster's names in an attempt to be comical, you have forgotten that their is a Spell Check button on this board. Once may be a mistake, but twice an idiot makes.
Nick Saban, shortly after being hired by LSU, flew back to East Lansing in a Lear Jet for the purpose of bringing as many of his assistant coaches as wanted to go back with him. Saban flew back to Baton Rouge ALONE!
Saban is an excellent coach. But his day-to-day people skills are poor (though he is an excellent recruiter). I used to love to watch the old Cleveland Browns defense play when he was the DC there. (led the NFL in defense). He went to LSU for more money, and not one single assistant followed, though all were invited.
Saban to the NFL? Could happen. But he is not missed in Spartan Land.
Tiger fan, you have a very good coach in Nick Saban, just don't get too comfortable with him...he follows the money.
ass. Sorry didn't mean to make a mistake Phill, or donut, or king....whatever it is. Some of us actually passed the 7th grade and went on to a place called college. You know the University everyone talks about on this board. Students go there. And as for the spelling sorry it's tuff to study for finals, read the paper, and talk about the vols, typing 75 words a minute. You know sometimes you miss onw. See oops I did it again. That should have been an "e". Im sure you will let me know about on your next post. Anyways... go vold. dang did it again
