For showing your real colors and losing to LSU like I thought you would. Now Nebraska gets to play for it's 6th national title. Of course a lot of you say nebraska doesn't deserve it.....oh well they are in the rose bowl and that's all that matters.
Now tell me something.....How do you get beat by a 7-3 team that played their second team runningback and quarterback? UT's problem was they tgought they had the game won when they got there. Last week at the pep rally on UT campus, players and fans alike where waving roses as if they knew they where going to the rose bowl. Well we see that they where soooo wrong. Like I said earlier....UT's championship was in the swamp. Every year vol fans think that if they can beat florida they are champions....B*&^%H PLEASE!!!!!! THis team is sorry and everybody in the nation saw it saturday night.
Well vol fans get plenty of popcorn,pizza,beer,etc and watch my cornhuskers play for the championship. You should feel good to play in the bowl you are going to. You've been there so many times you might as well get call it home! And also......ERIC CROUCH WON THE HEISMAN AWARD!!!!!

Yes, Mega-Jackoff, the Vols lost and paved the way for another Nebraska back-door NC game. You asked how we could get beat by a 7-3 team. Its called being unprepared. It's a term you ought to be familiar with after the Colorado game. As for Eric Crouch winning the Heisman: Just add his name to the long list of Heisman winners who are selling insurance two years after the fact. I actually hope Nebraska beats Miami so we can see a DISPUTED national championship because they will NOT be ranked #1 by the coaches.
If NU barely beats Miami, then there's going to be a problem. But if NU goes in there and beat the brakes off Miami like they've won past national titles(NU 62-FLORIDA 24), then they will be number one in all polls. But like I said, Don't hate on NU! It's not their fault UT doesn't know how to handle pressure. Sure Nebraska over-looked the buffs and got beat down. BUT who gets the last laugh and who is playing for their 6th national title?

is worse than losing to a team with a 2nd team QB and a 4th team tailback (Colorado).
Though I think you guys will beat Miami, a team that can't even win it's own division DOES NOT belong in the national title game--particularly when the defeat was by 26 friggin' points. I'd say the same if it was Tennessee in the same situation.
I respect Nebraska's tradition and their fans. However, every school has it's bad apples & I guess you're one of 'em for the Huskers.
Funny thing is with all the history and tradition of Nebraska football you guys will always be Oklahoma's whipping boy. When Big 12/8 football is thought of, the first school that comes to mind is Oklahoma. Always has been and always will be. Sorry.

If Neb wins, there'll probably be a split poll. The winner of the Colo/Oregon game will have a gripe if Neb wins. If Miami wins, there's no discussion. I personally think Miami is going to win.
Any of you sheep that think a playoff will happen anytime soon if Neb wins is dreaming. Do you think ABC would break its gazillion $$ contract to have a playoff? I believe they're locked into that contract for at least another four years.
The only way it could happen is if the fans don't go to the BCS bowls (which won't happen) and the fans at home don't watch the games on TV (which won't happen). That would cause an outrageous loss in $$. But that's not going to happen.
No more gripes about the non-division winner going. UT had that chance in 99 if we would have won out. We would have finished 2nd in the East and had a chance to play in the Sugar against FSU. UT was no. 2 in the BCS before the ARK game in 99, and many projections had them going to the Sugar if they won out. HH blew that chance against Arkansas.

Oklahoma's wish bone attack wasn't nothing nice. BUT Nebraska got in their a$$ also( the game of the century when johnny rodgers had the punt return for a TD that gave NU a victory over Oklahoma for the NC, The victory this year over #1 oklahoma). But come on now...this is the mighty vols! THey beat florida in the swamp! Noone can come close to them now. They will go to the rose bowl and run over miami. That's all I heard from vol fans all week long and look what happened. My suggestion is get another coaching staff. By numbers fulmer may be the winnest coach, but for some reason he can't seem to win the big games.
If you weren't such a damn sheep, you be saying that NU is luckier than hell to be in the Rose Bowl after Solich pulled a monumental choke job in Boulder. Congrats, Crouch won the Heisman, but be honest, does anyone actually care about that award unless they have a player they follow involved? Miami is going to smoke you guys, I'm wondering what the O-line is going to do to your defense after Colorado kicked that ass the way they did.
