Saturday night to call at the last minute and schedule a speaking event? Obviously, he either (A)thought he was going to lose so he scheduled it in advance, or (B)made a quick call to get out of town. Surely, he would have been here to be on the show if he won, wouldn't he?
BB, he ought to at least get on VC's for 10 minutes so

he doesn't look like he's "sceered".
However, I'd trade listening to PF take 10 minutes of screened calls for some more good football players--or interviewing a potential new assistant coach or two.
The Memphis meeting was originally scheduled for Dec. 3rd but was moved a week when the SECC game was pushed back.
Therefore, PF was able to be on VC's after the Florida win & misses (I'm guessing he won't be on) after the LSU defeat. Strange how things work isn't it?
I don't think there is any question the PERCEPTION will be PF's ducking the show if he's not on there tonight--particularly from those that are steamed anyway (myself included). There has been too many occasions after losses where Fulmer's been AWOL on VC's not to question why he's not on the show.
A nice chunk of Fulmer's salary is due to his TV & radio "appearances". Therefore, he needs to live up his contract as far as I'm concerned.
The ONLY reason I would doubt he's actually ducking VC's is because he knows good & well the type of audience that show draws. He also knows there's a call screener involved. How often have you heard PF confronted on that program?
