Once again I must digest a Ron Slay moment! 2 years of hustle, talent and generally good stuff, but also cheap shots, a loud mouth, and look at me poises for the TV camera. Buckner seemed less amused that Worthy last year. It is plain ole bush league and an embarassment.

Fact of the matter is Slay threw a cheap shot IMHO he should have least been Tee'ed for, maybe tossed. He blew key defensive assignments all night long after scoring, and was a general disgrace to the University of TENN. 40% shooting a 9 tunover does not warrant showboat antics to the camera. Bender a true freshman generally used and abused our loudmouth all trashtalk American. Slay responded with 2 player control fouls, and a general look of confusion.

Buzz we are not a very good team. Probably will fight to be a .500 level squad. Lets take our lumps and build for the future. If Slay does not grow up I suggest a seat in the stands with street clothes as a solution. I like Slays game and enthusiasm. But his classless actions have got to GO. Buzz toss hiss trashtalkin ass if he continues with this behaviour.

Slay is a punk. If he makes it in the NBA someone will beat the hell out of him. He is not a very good player so I doubt he will make it in the NBA.
