Coach Frans plan to KAWC just reached a high water mark. It was announced that Beard will play in the Independece Bowl. He has paid his price to society and the team. Lets welcome Santonio back with a thunderous standing ovation that he has done the right thing!!!! LOL
4 other minor players will be left behind because they failed to pass the minimum number of course hours each semester to be eligible for post season play. Wonder if Beard recieved extra credit for his in depth hands on experience with the justice system,(sociology) alcohol abuse (health), and his apology to team and fans(public speaking). That is at least 6 hours of course credit!
Beard should be sitting at home next week attending AA meetings.
But I'm infuriated about the four ineligible players that couldn't pass 6 freakin hours. Since Fran arrived the Bama nation has been fed this spew about "accountability" and "our players will go to class", and blah blah blah. What a load. Fran even went as far as to say the entire team would be disciplined in one player missed class. Well bring out the barf buckets, cause according to Fran's philosophy the whole team should be paying the price. Of course, we all know that won't happen.
Its not very difficult to get 2 f'n D's in some of the lame ass classes in which athletes are placed. These guys were not making any effort. They should be dismissed immediately.
Props to warrior for holding CDF's feet to the fire for reinstating SB. It's obvious that KAWC was all hype created by DF to feed the minions of bama Sheep.
Antonio Carter, an upperclassman who is very important in Bama's offense, can't pass 6 hours nor can 3 others. The 6 hour rule is a joke in and of itself. Student athletes should have to pass no less than 9 hours, this goes for all SEC athletes across the board.
IMO Fran came up small this year.
