As I was watching I told my wife it is now official, the win against UT was nothing more than a fluke coaching had absolutely nothing to do with it.

BT, couldn't agree more. Whats even more amazing is the fact that he went for it all on 2nd and 2. Oh well, I have said for the past month that the bowls make no difference. There are only two bowls and thats the Rose and Fiesta. UGA was able to practice for a couple of weeks and it looks like D.J. will get his shot this fall. Don't get me wrong, I would loved for UGA to win but they made too many mistakes and did not deserve to win the game. Richt has a lot to learn but I would rather have him any day than Goff or Donnan. He learned from the AU game, maybe he will learn from this one. I am very optimistic about next season. We will see how it plays out!

you're right brocky , i couldn't believe it , it was just like the auburn game all over. he must panic when it's crunch time like that . i can't believe there's not an assistant that can't say " whoa now coach , let's think about this for a second ! just a complete bonehead move !!

I believe Georgia got them another Ray Goff. Jim Donnan may be better than Richt. The bad thing is he beat UT. I hope he has another brain fart when UGA plays UT next year.

That really was one of the worst calls I've ever seen in my life. With UGA having two TO's and rougly 1 minute and change left, you'd figure BC would run off at least 45 seconds from the clock before Georgia got the ball back. I also thought Richt should have pounded Haynes the entire night, even moreso than he did (Haynes had over 100 yds).

The SEC looks pretty pathetic in its first two bowl games.

I am feeling your pain. Richt has bought into the SnooppHate premise that winning the SEC east revolves around beating my VOLS. Donnan & Richt have parlayed two important wins against my VOLS into 8 losses in 2 years! I ask you Snoopp, does the road to the SEC title only go through Knoxville for Athens or does it go through the Jacksonville fraud game, Columbia, & Auburn??

I know the players are learning Richt's system, but come on SnooppHate. The Bulldog behind is the most- owned rear in college football. The Richt machine managed 9 points with all that talent after the trick kickoff to start the game. Look for Athens to start more recruiting trash this week against UT!

Best thing about the game was when they discussed UGA's pecs & abs--great dog with class (except for the licking of Smokey) & intelligence!! Another great moment was the poll showing Herschel Walker as the best dog of all time--2 decades ago!! You have to give it to Athens, they love to dwell on their tradition!

Continue to build your hopes and dreams around beating UT. Putting on your resume that you own UT is like Harrick, Jr. running his resume by Daddy Harrick. Always avoid FL Field, if you want to win the SEC east.

I have to be honest with you Snooppy, we enjoy the Athens parade of head coaches as much as you do!

It is embarassing, VERYYYYY embarassing to lose to an unranked and overrated team such as the puppies; NO QUESTION. But I will give the pups a bit of credit; your cheerleaders won hands-down over the BC cheerleaders in "looks".......those poor girls from BC had been beat with an "ugly stick"........tis nothing like southern gals......

That's 4-0 for the Big East. Bama (undeservingly) was crowned Indy bowl champs, & looked pathetic in doing so.

If the SEC doesn't take care of the Big Ten then I can see our conference finishing about 4th or 5th in the power rankings.

MP, thats a damn good point. The SEC really sucks this year and has been a second rate conference for the past three years. This is whats happens when you do not have a play off. 50-60 1-A teams out of 117 go to bowl games. That makes a lot of sense. LMAO! The hell with all the SEC sheep and bowl traditionalists!
