How can anyone defend this!? I love the college bowl season, although I MUCH prefer a playoff, and this year has been a JOKE of a year.

You had 3 league CHAMPS suffering these huge defeats. Would you care to tell me that those CHAMPS would not have been invited to your playoff? Would that have made them better games? If LEAGUE CHAMPS are not going to be included in your playoff, who is?

The BCS is broken and needs to be fixed but a playoff does not guarantee a barn-burner final.

Clueless Carter, what about a matchup between the top four teams. UM,Oregon,UF,UT? I would hate for the fans to have to travel though. You hate competition. I'm sure you stand by your remark that the two best teams were matched up last night. Once again the BCS failed to do its job. Look for a playoff within the next 5-10 years. Your proposed "playoff" lineup ONLY includes 2 conference champs and 2 teams that DID NOT EVEN WIN THEIR CONFERENCE, ONE DIDN'T WIN IT'S DIVISION. It does not include the team that DID win that conference. Weren't you raising hell about Neb. not winning their's? Just a small bit of consistency please?
