Solich has been in charge for 4 years & has a 2-2 bowl record including a stomping of a FLAT '99 Volunteer team!

No conference title in the last 2 years.

OU has moved ahead as has Texas! OU has a NC during Solich's 4 years.

I tried to tell Meg that Nebraska's slow safeties & all-run, no-pass offense, fumble-prone offense will not stand up against a team that has speed(& is not afraid to smack them in the mouth). I didn't know the Brackens kids played LB for them. I hope those 2 safeties they signed from Chattanooga are faster than what they had last night--maybe Small Mike will become a Nebraka fan.

TN & FL had the speed to beat Nebraska a few years ago, but were AFRAID to smack Nebraska in the mouth then. I don't think that is the case now. Miami, FL, OU, LSU & even TN are playing both speed & physical football now--a big problem for Solich if he wants a National Title. The game last night was lost when Crouch & then the kickoff guy were separated from the ball.

I have a hard time believing the speed players that Nebraska lacks are going to want to go to Lincoln & freeze their tail off for old Nebraskie.

You do have to give Solich credit, he continued to run at the end of the first half when they were down 34-0. I did hope that they would have late success running the ball so they would keep that one-dimensional system at Nebraskie!!

I don't know if Mega is asking questions about his boy Solich this morning, but I bet some of the 60,000 Red fans are dicsussing him on their way back from CA.

solich has got to go! That's all I heard in the crowd! Nebraska has NEVER lost back to back games like this!! I'm sending letters and e-mails to the AD of nebraska and the fans that live there will be at the university monday morning! This was a digrace to husker football and that coach has got to go. Now tell me this, if fulmer lost back to back games like that wouldn't you guys back his stuff up for him?

What offensive system would UNL go to if you fired Frank? Solich is an extension of Dr. Tom with the idea of keeping the option train running. In your opinion would UNL promote from within again or hire a coach who would change the way things are done in Lincoln?

Either way things won't be as rosey, pardon the pun, for the Huskers in the immediate future.

Solich is defending bohl(defensive coach) by saying that adjustments will be made,but his job isn't threatened. Hell no!!! Bohl doesn't have a clue to what's going on. His defensive schemes just are not working. Willie amos shouldn't have never been a starter at corner the way kohnson was killing him. Sure they stopped miami in the second half and that's only because miami called the dogs off. I'm a good patron to the university and like other patrons/fans that attended the rose bowl, I demand for bohl to get the hell out of nebraska. The defense is young,but to get beat that bad in back to back games will not be tolerated!!
