Both Phil and Small Mike understand that unlike football, basketball is a Tournament/Playoff sport. What happened to today is 100% meaningless. Really, no games should even be televised until the tournaments start. And it is so great because they will prove who really is the best, a TRUE champion. UT will still prove they are the best.

this game means a great deal for both teams.
One of two things will happen to the LV's if they face UConn in the tourney due to the game today:
1) Either the LV's will learn from their mistakes and take the game to UConn, or
2) The LV's will be intimated from the get-go when they get back on the court with the Huskies and take a worse beaten than what occured today.

WC, I know where you're going with this argument and it just doesn't wash. You cannot and will not convince me a four or eight team playoff in college football will dampen the excitement of the regular season--it will only make it more important for the teams that expect to play for it all.

...apostrophes that detract from your posts, or not...I look very carefully at the meaning of language...But, who really gives a shit? Tennessee will absolutely DESTROY Ole Miss tomorrow! Got any extra tickets? Pat's definition of 'orange' was tinted...
But I'm still wanting someone to lay out the qualification rules for your playoff scenario that would NOT affect it. Please, you're in charge, in 2002 these 4/8 spots will be open to the following:
(Please insert so we'll know how to get in the game)
In reference to MC of the KNS, its not just those regular appearances at the end of those far reaching video/audio waves on your TV set, but that protruding adams apple that frightens many in the land of K-Town.
