Another shot on www.fancast.com tonight at 10:00 PM.
It will start out as a normal show but I am testing the systom for my scheduled show tomorrow.
However BT and I are hoping that the broadcast will hold up and we can get into it tonight!

Same situatuion except, yesterday I went through my computers setting and made sure that everything was checked and double checked as to all info given to me through trouble shooting the Fancast systom.
ALL programs other than Fancast were stopped.
I even went into two other shows last night, and one was having the same problems as I was. Breaking up and in a time warp or like there was a wah wah pedal going. The other show was crystal clear.
Tonight it was the same thing. There was a horrible delay and the callers said that I was breaking up badly, yet I got two callers on with a mike that could be heard fine.
I tried to put those two callers together, and when I did I was disconnected.
Adam, I do not know what else to do, and I have seen quite a number of other shows not make it onto the air that were scheduled, or break up badly like I have been doing.
Look through my broadcast record. I had around 10 shows that went off fine. I have even set my PC back to square one and reloaded the wonderhorse system from scratch.
I am at a loss as to what I can do next. More technical support is needed. Without it, I give up. Nothing else left for me to try.
ever thought about trying a cable modem if you don't already have one. It is much faster and can handle the traffic much more easier and quicker. Maybe the dial-up is causing some of the problems due to the lack of speed.
When I bought this PC a couple of months ago I called comcast and asked if broadband was available at my residence.
They said Yes.
So I got the deal with the free broadband modem and hook up stuff...(rebates) and then when I called for service they said I would not be able to hook up till sometime the beginning of this year. They pissed me off pretty good. And I can not get my rebate without a sales slip from my first month of cable broadband.
I did my part...and even DSL is not available here yet and I am One block from the south Knoxville city limits!!
Al, I bet that is your problem too. I struggle with internet streaming audio due to the same reasons. I have seen both cable and DSL systems. They are really sweet.
Cell Phones crap out all the time smack in the middle of anywhere USA.
We can put a man on the moon, but ya can't talk to him if he wonders into its back yard.
I know thats an easy one, no satelite to bounce the radio signals off from.
Could be along the lines of, why give us a 10 year light bulb? It can be done but wouldn't be good for GE.
