First, Mike Griffith starts whining about how he can't see what Buzz Peterson is doing during the game because UT moved them to the end of the court and they don't have their front row tables anymore.

Then, Griffith and Lundy state that their coverage of recruiting in the paper is every bit as good as the information out there on Volquest and other net sites.

That's it for me today. Fifteen minutes is about all I can take. My sides start splitting from laughing so hard!

WooleyC, it is hard to tell one from the other. I guess Adams has a squawk box to give the day's selling points. The best part was after they each said their recruiting coverage was pretty good, Wilkerson dismissed the caller--case closed.

I have said it for 2 years that, Mike Strange & the media ought to sit up high with the fans & they would get a better earful, if not view! Mike Strange removed all doubt about whether the KNS is interested in improving the atmosphere at TBA. Putting the KNS on the TBA seats needs to be stopped. Is their circulation that bad? Clean that trash out of TBA! What ingrates!!

I also found their take to be bottom level today. Hell the damn algie feeders though were eating that crap up.
Strange and Lundy know that they are outworked day in and day out by the Tennessean.

And Stranges answere as to how the National Sources quote the AP out of Nashville and not the Tennessean was obvious hogwash.

990 has better ratings and a person doesn't have to stay on hold for an hour. There isn't much difference in the shows. Both have their legions of dumber than dirt sheep that call in. As JC would say, "You can't outsheep the sheep." Also, I get to hear Buzz on 990.

That may be one of the dumbest observations I've seen on this board. I agree that both shows have their share of uninformed sheep that call in, but 990 and Tony are vastly different (style, approach, entertainment, types of callers, etc.).

Maybe Phil enjoys calling in and asking the UT womens softball coach questions.
