...and let me say that it was SO satisfying. I was born in this little city 50 years ago today, and now finally back where I started for the duration. For those who care (and I know some do), I could not be happier turning 50 right here where I was born. Had a wonderful birthday party with my brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, etc. God, I love it!
God has blessed me greatly since I headed north from Knoxville. I cannot begin to explain or describe the wonders of returning home at a mature age with a mature mind after living a full life everywhere else.
There is no doubt in my mind that He has each of our names inscribed on the palms of His hands.
I am grateful for the comradarie I know from many of you, grateful for TBA and PV's dutiful time and attention to SPS, and grateful for the mellow yet keen appreciation I have for this blessing called life.
CD, I never met you, but have read your posts here and truly enjoy your creation. Happy birthday and I wish you many more so you can enjoy your return home.
I believe if you took a poll of the members of this board, most would offer their thanks to you, and also would tell you that your baby is in caring and capable hands. Your bitterness towards the move of this forum from NET 54 to aimoo puzzles me, as I can relate that move in some ways to your return home. From what I've learned this change is necessary for many reasons, but most importantly to keep the forum growing. Even though the address may change the spirit of the board will remain.
It's my hope that you'll see this move much the same as your move from Knoxville to Michigan and continue to be a part of SPS.

Maybe at first the move bothered me somewhat. Look, everyone, please try to understand. I did leave the caretaking of this board to my friend Alan because some wrongful things happened to me in K-Town that caused my sudden departure from SPS. I was glad for my wisdom to bring Al in before there was a problem. For SPS, that decision worked out for the best as all will agree. Al then was simalarly wise to bring in PV. So all is well at SPS.
I have registered at SPS II, and will remain a close friend of the board as well as of its members.
