Enough already, about whether somebody was/should have been/could have been/might have been consulted.
CD, I understand you created this Board and for that I say THANK YOU. I started hanging out hear about 6 months ago and I rarely go a day without at least taking a peak to see what’s going on. You are to be commended for starting something very special.
I also understand that certain matters in your personal life necessitated that you turn the reigns over to TBA and/or PV. I don’t know TBA or PV any more than I know you but I can tell that those guys put a tremendous amount of time and energy into keeping this board up and running and, hopefully, improving. TBA and PV tell us that we’ll all be better off by moving to the new site. I don’t know squat about bandwidth or javascript but I do know that Network 54 has been down with increasing frequency and I trust that TBA and PV have all members’ best interest at heart when they tell us its time to move.
What’s your problem with the move, anyway. Its a freaking message board. You created this message board and nobody can ever deny that, whether the board is located at Net 54 or Aimoo. SPS II is but a newer version of SPS and, like the older version, would not exist but for your efforts.
I think the analogy to a mother trying to interfere after giving her child up for adoption is right on point. Give it up. You’ll always be the mother of this board - you simply chose (for whatever reason) to let someone else be the custodian. Can’t you just sit back and enjoy what you started, secure in the knowledge that it will always be your legacy?
You tell TBA and PV in one thread that you’re okay with the move and you apologize to them for going off on them without cause. Then you turn right back around and start at them again on another thread. What’s with you man?
With all apologies to our female members, you’re acting like a damn girl. Grow some nads and quit your crying.
And finally, your last-minute effort to “keep the lights on” at SPS is sad and pathetic. Say what you want but the fact of the matter is these 2 boards cannot co-exist and you know that. They will serve the same crowd the same general menu. There’s no need for two. Hell, I’m already tired of scrolling back and forth between the two. And if you do try to keep the lights on over here, I can tell you that you’re gonna have much more of a presence than you’ve had in the 6 months that I’ve been here.
In closing, let me wish you a happy 50th birthday. Now start acting your age.
