Was wondering about the kinds of monitors/bokkshelf speakers suitable for the Orton amp? Would it be a good match for Totems such as the Hawks, Forests and Tabus? Or are there more appropriate matches out there? Thanks

The Totems are generally excellent speakers but, as ever we advise to try them first. The Orton will work well with any speakers of 86dB sensitivity and above. Naturally sound performance is subjective to the listener.
Also worth trying in similar price brackets are Penaudio speakers, Neat Accoustic, Sonas Faber, amongst others.
I believe revolver have come out with a higher end range. They may be worth a demo too based on some hearsay.
If you try anything else that works well we would love to hear from you. If you have a good dealer it is worth asking them, as they will have good experience of a range of speakers.
The better dealers will allow you to try the Orton with some good speakers in the shop or even in your home environment.
