Orton Vs Bronte

Hi,

Well in principle the Orton and Bronte are two completely different animals. Not just in terms of price, but also in performance. The Orton is a more refind amplifier and is optimised with serious attention to the musical performance. we have takin the renouned Sonneteer musicality and made every attempt to better it. The Orton is the result of years of work in this area.

The Bronte is now what we consider to be our entry model and by far our biggest selling amplifier. Unlike all our other amplifiers(excepting teh BardThree) the Bronte is based on Digital technology. This has the benefit of maximising the efficiency of power use as it is transfered in to the music. This aside, musically we have simply treated it as another amplifier while developing and would not have allowed it to grace the Sonneteer range without matching it's stable mate's performance. The fact taht it is our best seller perhapse indicates that the customers agree. The Orton is ofcourse twice the price. We like to think the product itself reflects that difference.

Your comments will be more than welcome.
