I believe you made some changes to the Campion at some point. What date were these made, and how drastic/audible were they? I've seen a couple of ex-demo Campions and wondered if they were pre-change models. Is there a serial number identification or whatever?

There has been no real official changes as such since the Campion's first launch in Europe. Cosmetically there has been a few alterations but electronically the Campion has been fairly consistant over the years.

I prefer to use the term "mini-evolutions" to describe the changes made to the Campion's electronics over the years. These changes can range from a component change (due to a discontinued part or an imporved part found) to a building procedures change that may have had some benefit to the sound (wire-routing internally etc).

I think the single most significant changes to the Campion was the optional built-in phono stage option, which is a no cost option when ordered with the amplifier.
