It was I who had lured you all into the Master/Slave relationship! Bwaaahahahaha! I discovered the problem with my Tascam 564 4trk MD deck long ago. I think the 808 (and A6?) term their frame rates slightly different from Tascams standards? (though they all should be standard now?) But you have your 24fps, 29fps, 30 'no drop'fps, 30fps, and so on. If I leave my Tascam on 30fps, and put 808's to 30 'no drop' (or something?) it actually works pretty good now 'slaved' to my Tascam. So I don't think there's too much too worry about with the 808 and A6 these days in that regard?

I think Tascam threw a wrench at me first time around?
