It's in there...

I'm not in front of my 808 now (and I do alot, just knowing it's face, not reading it). So, I believe that the "normalize" function is in one of the top 3 buttons in the middle section (song, system, pads buttons). I think it's in the left one (the song button). If you scroll down in that menu, you should find it.
