How to sync MC-505 with SP-808

Hi there, I'm new to this board and would like to know how to sync my mc505 with sp808. I've connected mc505 midi out to sp808 midi in, set MC as INTernal. I want to play the pads on the SP in a different tempo so it matches with the clock on the mc. Can anyone out there help me. I was able to sync the mc with cubase and rebirth, but when it comes to SP, I'm stuck. I appreciate any hints, I'm also lacking SP-808 manual, is there a website that has it?
