808 pads...dang!by genericAlright, you are about to experience the same disappointement I did when I first got my 808. I wanted to be able to trigger other machines via MIDI with the 808's pads too but... The manual has this nice little "note" that says "MIDI note messages cannot be sent by tapping the SP 808's pads." You can only sequence the pads onto the four tracks to fit with your song.
