Hard drive atached to sp808 - dont tell me no!!! please

It must be possible surely, ive got my soldering iron ready and a bag of resistors! Is it an IDE interface?
has anyone actualy tried? what is the error?

Also ive got problems with lower 8 leds on sample pads, its releated to the 2 connectors to the PCB anyone know the pin asignments for these 2 connectors?

ps the LED's are OK.
