How do I get effects on just one track?

Hi, Nice discussion forum. Bought an EX at the weekend after lusting after it for weeks. Can’t get the effects on just one track though. If I turn one track effect on or off, it affects all the others. Any ideas?

Also does anyone know how you can resample a loop that’s been put through the variphrase so that the new sample plays at the lower speed? At the moment I’ve had to record it to MD with Variphrase on and then play it back in and resample it. There must be a way of doing this internally?
