I'll try it: A6 Operating System in a SP808ex

hi,

as most of us know the Edirol A6 is nearly the same machine as the SP880ex, but features very important and great functions like IDE-Harddisks instead of ZIP drives and virtual tracks (!) like the VS880/VS1680.

A few days ago I got the original A6 Operating System and I'll try to update my SP808ex.

But before I'm going to do this risky task I need some comments if it's possible to restore the original 808ex OS in case of problems with the A6 OS (or in case of completely not working).
