Oh yeah, Track to Pad...

Knew I was forgetting something after my rant...

Track to pad - Highlight track with MARK (or track portion?) Hold down MARK, and press CLIP BOARD - voila!
Now just hold CLIP BOARD, and press a empty pad (or overwrite an existing pad.) And that's it!

Pad to track. SHIFT+STOP Button (STEP) Make sure you're at the measure where you want samples to start first. And adjust note value from MEASURE to SAMPLE or half note, quarter, etc. And just jam the pads in there. Hope that helps you?
