others...byOthers have had problems with different zip disks as well. I don't use the wav converter software anymore (which is where some of the problems are showing up I think. I've also never had a disk go bad on me, but admittedly I've been easy on the machine - no live gigs, no slamming disks in and out between sets, etc. (I'm crossing my fingers now that I said that) Hard to imagine that Roland would be able to provide something "better" than Iomega? Maybe the physical features of Iomegas have changed as time goes on, but compatibility has always been pretty stable. I'm waiting to see about this IDE zip compatible card I've been hearing about.
