ok someone mustve used the mpd16 with the 808??

been a whhile....




im thinking the akai mpd16 trigger is not a good match-up for the 808. perhaps a mis-hit with a low velocity will trigger an inaudible sample from the 808. this would be bad if sample pad #1 is accidentally double hit, because the second lgiht touch will override the original sample trigger. is this true??

the only way i see around this is for some sort of filter that omitted vel hits under XX sensitivity. what do ou all think??
