ressurectionbyWell, since the forum's dead, maybe this will fall on blind eyes, but, yo. . .Maybe this has been done to death, but I thought I'd share. About a year ago I started toying around with juggling my records against sampled chunks of the same beat off my 808. I've now kind of refined my technique. While I loop and trigger different drum and tone samples I've created in a bank, I go nuts juggling up my records along side. It's a blast and my friends are all highly entertained with the liveliness of me on that sampler. As an added bonus, I no longer have to buy two copies of the records I want to juggle (sorry dirtstlye crew). I am a little stumped on how to break it down into that dope half-time shit I see true mix masters accomplishing. I guess I'm just kind of hoping someone else would give this a run for it's money and give me some feedback on anything new they can achieve. I'm not online a lot so if anyone feels like it, please respond to the_anything_people@hotmail.com P's from IP address 205.213.202.4 Goto Forum Home |
