hey guys I have a couple of rookie questions for you. 1. I am trying to sample a beat from my keyboard thru the line input instead of mic(to reduce noise) but I can't get any sound. is there some secret trick to this?

2. I have a couple of songs recorded but everytime I go into song mode to access them I am prompted to save previous song every time--even if I haven't been recording anything. this seems very time consuming especially in a live setting when quick access to songs is essential. I don't have a manual and I've tried to download one from Roland but I always get an error. your help is appreciated. peace.
