Response to 'Scenic Rust' removal?

I have heard of people using "easy off" oven cleaner to remove mistakes. Not to rub it in but one should always try new techniques/materials on old models or inconspicous areas. The reason I mention this is maybe try the easy off on a small area to see how it works.

I have used laquer thinner and a toothbrush to remove mistakes before. You have to be careful with "hot" chemicals because they will etch or craze the plastic.

Again, if the easy off does'nt work, maybe try different types of thinners: Laquer, paint, aircraft stripper, etc.

HTH-

James
