For the sooty look on damaged walls,etc.,
try sprinkling a bit of Black Powder {For
Muzzle-Loading Firearms} around the structure
touch it off with a match and POOF! You have
the real thing.


Note:This method is not recomended for
plastic or resin structures.I have done
this on several structures made from
scrap wallboard/drywall with the backing
paper removed.
