Response to I'm in a nightmare....MK Tracks.....

Roy, cut the links off with a really sharp sprue cutter so that you donít have to trim the links. Lay down an entire side on wide Tamiya tape that is taped down along the edges to a rigid surface (thick Plexiglas works well). Lay them down on the tape so they are ready to pin. Apply some viscous cement to each pin and insert the pins. After inserting the pin, cut the extra plastic off the pin well before the pin is dry in the track link or else the pin may crack when the extra plastic is cut (this differs from the instructions). As you cut the extra plastic off the pin, the pin may back out a bit. Push each pin back in with a piece of brass rod after cutting. Let dry for a day or so and then remove from the tape. For tracks without separate guide teeth, I can build both sides in less than a day. I learned this while assembling Dragon individual Sherman tracks. HTH, Rich
